‘Pretty Little Liars’ Recap: Alison’s Reunion With The Girls Turns Deadly

Criminals, gumshoes and shots in abundance? Best. Pill incited. Pipedream. Ever.

With the proof against Ezra (Ian Harding) heaping up, and the measure of pills in Spencer's (Troian Bellisario) tummy at an untouched high, there was one and only place left for the occupants of Rosewood to go from here: a dark and-white motion picture! Yes, the Feb. 11 scene of Pretty Little Liars moved into a full-on tribute to film noir — and an excellent one at that.

'Really Little Liars': 5 Game-Changing Reveals

While I wasn't certain completely which parts were really incident, and which parts were just some piece of Spencer's fantasy — for instance, I'm really certain Hanna (Ashley Benson) doesn't work for the telephone organization – here were the most amazing minutes from the scene that I think happened:

1. Ezra told Toby (Keegan Allen) that is Alison (Sasha Pieterse) alive, as well as Spencer knows where to discover her.

2. Ezra told Aria (Lucy Hale) that he knows she knows Alison is alive.

3. Aria told Spencer she's been "truly seeing" Ezra once more.

4. The young ladies candidly encountered Alison, and Spencer blamed her for setting them up for…  "something."

5. What's more, obviously, Spencer demonstrated to Emily (Shay Mitchell) and Hanna that Ezra is "A."

'Really Little Liars' Black & White Episode: My Review

So now that we've gotten that chaotic plot off the beaten path, would we be able to simply discuss how staggering this scene was? I comprehend that its presumably the show's most polarizing hour ever — a few fans will love it, while others will ask why it was made in any case — however even with its peculiar birthplaces, you need to acknowledge how flawlessly this thing was shot.

The lighting! The music! The ensembles! Everything cooperated in impeccable concordance to catch the most real tribute to outdated noir I've seen in quite a while. There's an excuse for why more shows don't do this; its diligent work! Regarding the acting, I think we can all concur that Troian was completely in her component; its like she was destined to do this.

Also that scene between Emily and Paige (Lindsey Shaw)? You know the one I'm discussing. Great. Ruler. I think I at long last comprehend what all the Paily complain is about. Besides, two ladies necking in a dark and-white picture? Right away that is something I never thought I'd see!

Praise to writer/director Joseph Dougherty. This scene was the bumble filmed.
